Abstract
BaWO4 sheaf-like nanostructures with different degrees of crystal splitting have been synthesized in a cat–anionic positive microemulsion. The solid angle of crystal splitting increases with decreasing surfactant concentration. The non-uniform distribution of surfactants and diffusing of Ba2+ ions in interface might cause the crystal splitting.
