Abstract
We used the phase-field method to perform 2D calculation of the cellular evolution during the growth of Ge1-xSix single crystals. Particular focus is on the influence of the melt flow on the pattern formation. The results are discussed in the context of the analysed structures in crystals of growth experiments.
