Abstract
CaWO4 films were successfully prepared on glass substrates by chemical bath deposition (CBD) at the temperature 40–80 °C and pH 8–12. The as-deposited films were homogeneous, dense and highly crystallized with nano-size grains. Structure (XRD), optical (UV–vis–NIR and PL), Raman and morphological (SEM) characterizations of the films were presented. It indicated that the pH value greatly affected the velocity of the deposition, and the emission intensity was highly depended on the crystallinity of the CaWO4 films.
