Abstract
A computational thermal analysis for a horizontal three-zone refining system of cadmium (Cd) and tellurium (Te) has been carried out. A realistic geometry that includes the heater and insulation regions was used. The model provides the essential information for carrying out various parametric studies in the future. Numerical results are compared with the actual production data.
