Abstract
Ferromagnet is a major source of disturbance to magnetic sensor. An improved method positioning the compensation coils beside the ferromagnet is presented for disturbance compensation. The method does not ignore the distance between ferromagnet and coils, and considers the non-orthogonality of the coils. The simulation results show that the compensation precision exceeds 96% though the noise amplitude of compensation current reaches 10Â mA. In contrast, precision of the method without consideration of the distance does not exceed 90%.
