Abstract
⸠Ferromagnetic metallic state (FMM) is found in nano-sized Nd0.5Sr0.5MnO3 (â¼40 nm). ⸠FMM is confirmed from detailed neutron diffraction, magnetic and transport studies. ⸠Surface pressure is found to be insufficient to explain the effects. ⸠Role of enhanced surface disorder and strain modification have been discussed.
