Abstract
⺠We have used the augmented space technique to study the electronic structure of NiMo and NiW. ⺠Using the Lichtenstein formula we have obtained the exchange interactions in the alloys. ⺠We have studied the mean-field magnetic phase diagram for the alloys. ⺠The idea was to investigate why no spin-glass phase is not found in these alloys.
