Abstract
⺠Nickel nanosheets of thickness 0.6 nm have been grown within the two dimensional channel of Na-4 mica. ⺠The magnetization studies of the material have been extensively done. ⺠The anisotropy constant increases by two order of magnitude relative to bulk nickel. ⺠The material also satisfy the Bloch equation with different value of the Bloch coefficient. ⺠The high value of the room temperature coercivity allows the material to be used as magnetic memory devices.
