Abstract
Development of a new synthetic route for the evolution of Fe3Pt particles with cubic morphology has been discussed here. These particles are expected to be applied for hyperthermia therapy due to their soft magnetic character because of a sharp fall of magnetic moment in the neighbourhood of 320Â K. The soft magnetic property is due to their isotropic cubic morphology and structure.
