Abstract
Ferromagnetic nanoparticles in a carbon matrix were synthesized by thermal decomposition of organic precursor maleic anhydride using different molecular weight percentages of organometallic precursor ferrocene at temperature of 900 and 980âC. The effect of preparation treatment on the phase composition, microstructure and magnetic properties were investigated using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, Mössbauer spectroscopy and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer.
