Abstract
SrTi1−xCoxO3−δ solid solutions (0.05⩽x⩽0.50.05⩽x⩽0.5) have been prepared by solid-state reaction at high temperature and the achievement of their synthesis was checked by high-resolution X-ray diffraction. Magnetic data were fitted to a Curie–Weiss law with the addition of a temperature independent paramagnetism term (TIP). The samples with x⩾0.35x⩾0.35 exhibit paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic transitions. The resistivity data show an unexpected dependence ln(ρ)∼T-1/2 for all the measured temperature range.
