Abstract
We have performed AC and DC-electrical resistivity, magnetization and magnetoresistance measurements of CeB6 with temperature up to 250 K and the magnetic field up to 5 T. From these measurements, three magnetic phases are observed as Phase I, Phase II and Phase III. In Phase I, typical Kondo-like behavior is observed and the value of TK found is 19 K. From Kondo-like and negative magnetoresistance behavior, the existence of localized moments at high temperature is concluded. From the analysis of the CeB6 high-temperature resistivity measurements, a bump below 50 K has been observed and this evidence shows that Γ8Γ8 levels are dynamically split around 40 K.
