Abstract
We discuss single electronic tunnelings through an open side-branch mesoscopic ring driven by time-periodic magnetic flux. Here, the ring and a tangential lead form a single collimating contact. In the framework of Floquet scattering theory, we exactly treat such tunneling problems. Our numerical results clearly show that if the incident electronic energy E equals to the integer times of the driven frequency ωω, i.e., E=nℏω,n=1,2,3,…E=nℏω,n=1,2,3,…, then the resonant peaks of transmissions (along the tangential-connected lead) reveal. The feasibility to test such an effect, due to the nonelastic interactions between the transported electrons and the applied oscillating external fields, is also discussed.
