Abstract
Pr2Fe17N3âδ particles with planar anisotropy were synthesized at various nitrogenation temperatures. The microwave complex permeability of resin composites with 35 vol% Pr2Fe17N3âδ particles was measured in the frequency range 0.1-15 GHz. With the increase of nitrogenation temperature, the permeability μâ²0 of composites firstly increases and then decreases. At the nitrogenation temperature of 500 °C, the maximum permeability μâ²0 is 3.34, the natural resonance frequency, fr, was 7.4 GHz with bandwidth over 10 GHz. The intrinsic permeability was calculated using Bruggeman's effective medium theory.
