Abstract
The influences of pure dephasing and incoherent pumping on the spectra from a coupled target quantum dot-cavity system are systematically investigated. We find that incoherent pumping has a similar effect on the spectra as pure dephasing does. The results of off-resonance study indicate that a frequency-stabilized single photon source can be achieved by controlling either pure dephasing rate or incoherent pumping rate. Furthermore, we investigate the strategies to optimize the efficiency of a single photon source. The obtained results offer appealing perspectives in developing an efficient frequency-stabilized solid-state single photon source.
