Abstract
Pb0.90Ca0.10TiO3 (PCT90/10), Pb0.90La0.10TiO3 (PLT90/10) and Pb0.90Sr0.10TiO3 (PST90/10) ceramic systems were synthesized in single perovskite phase by modified chemical route. Tetragonal structure was obtained in PCT90/10, PLT90/10 and PST90/10 ceramic systems each calcined at 600 °C. Dense grain morphology was obtained in PCT90/10, PLT90/10 and PST90/10 ceramic samples sintered at 900, 1100 and 1150 °C, respectively. Transition temperature (Tc) from pyroelectric measurements was found to be ∼154, 176 and 389 °C for PCT90/10, PLT90/10 and PST90/10 ceramic samples, respectively. PST90/10 ceramic sample was found to be the best pyroelectric material with pyroelectric coefficient (pi) ∼17.52 nC/cm2 K at room temperature (RT).
