Abstract
In this paper, we report the preparation and characterization of a high quality crystalline ZnO oxidization from metallic Zn. In X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies, crystalline characteristic was evaluated with intensity relative along the (0 0 2) plane, i(0 0 2) and ratio in between lattice constants c and a of wurtzite ZnO crystal, c/a. The result shows that the value i(0 0 2) and ratio c/a have different trends, which correspond to oxidation time. All the spectra have transmittance >60% in visible range. Luminescence efficiency increases with annealing duration.
