Abstract
Three dimensional simulation of vortex dynamics based on main principles was studied by using Pancake model and Monte Carlo technique. The correlation strength between pancake vortices on adjacent layers was determined by comparing our simulation model with previous results. Point-like and columnar pinning were studied for a layered sample. At low temperatures where thermal effects ignored, columnar pinning centers were found to be more effective to demobilize vortices. At higher temperatures mobility of vortices were traced. Our results showed that melting occurred at around the same temperatures for both point-like and columnar pinning, although Columnar pinning has shown remarkable two-step melting.
