Abstract
When the Hall resistivities of all the constituents of a composite conductor are much greater than the corresponding Ohmic resistivities, the local electric field and current distributions in the system become simpler than in the absence of a magnetic field. Simple, exact, closed-form asymptotic expressions are consequently found for some elements of the macroscopic resistivity tensor of a composite conductor with arbitrary microstructure. Two critical points are identified in the macroscopic response of a composite with a disordered microstructure that does not have to be isotropic.
