Abstract
A review is given of a magnetic structure of the spinel CdCr2O4CdCr2O4, in which geometrical frustration exists between the Cr3+Cr3+ moments located at the corners of the tetrahedron. It shows an incommensurate antiferromagnetic ordering below TN=7.8K with a characteristic wave vector of Q=(0,δ,1)Q=(0,δ,1)(δ∼0.09)(δ∼0.09). We performed spherical neutron polarimetry analysis and determined that the magnetic structure is elliptical spiral in the ac plane with ellipse slightly elongated along the c-axis. An imbalance in chirality domains was also observed.
