Abstract
The present paper reports a comparative study of crystallization kinetics in two important metallic glasses Cu50Ti50 and Cu50Zr50 in terms of kinetic parameters of crystallization (activation energy of crystallization Ec, crystallization temperature Tc and rate of crystallization K) and thermodynamic parameter of crystallization (enthalpy of crystallization Hc and the specific heat Cp of crystallization). The results are explained in terms of physical properties of additive elements M=Ti and Zr in Cu50M50 system.
