Abstract
In this paper, a biexciton trapped by a quantum dot is investigated. By using exact diagonalization techniques, the correlation energies of the low-lying states for the biexciton in a parabolic quantum dot are calculated as a function of the confinement strength. The important features of the low-lying states is found to be based on symmetry.
