Abstract
Within the framework of the transverse spin -12 Ising model and by using the effective field theory with a probability distribution technique that accounts for the self-spin correlations, we have studied the critical properties of the BaxSr1-xTiO3BaxSr1-xTiO3 system. In particular, we have studied the polarization as function of both the temperature T and the Ba concentration x , the critical temperature Tc(x)Tc(x) as function of x , and also the dielectric susceptibility χ(T,x)χ(T,x) for different values of the strength of the applied electric field E.
