Abstract
A simple kinetic model for two-component lipid bilayer membranes under effects of bounding walls is presented. The interaction energy between membrane and hard walls is considered as harmonic interaction energy, and a phenomenological coupling between local composition and curvature is proposed. By linear stability analysis and cell dynamical system approach, the time evolution of simulated patterns are described and the kinetic ordering processes are quantitatively assessed.
