Abstract
Low-frequency (102–105 Hz) dielectric properties of TbMnO3 (TMO) composites adding different cations were investigated from 360 to 77 K. Compared to the parent TMO, it was found that cation addition could reduce dissipation factor, while very high dielectric constant almost remained. Especially addition of Ti ion reduced dissipation factor remarkably. And the additions of Sr ion and Ti ion at the same time resulted in the increase of dissipation factor. It is interesting that dissipation factor decreased again when Sr ion was partly substituted by Ba ion.
