Abstract
⺠We perform Xe- and Au-irradiations in optimally-doped Ba(Fe,Co)2As2 crystals. ⺠We compare the effects of irradiation-particle energy on physical properties. ⺠The suppression of Tc depends on irradiation-particle energy and sample thickness. ⺠High-energy irradiation changes the structure of hysteresis loops more apparently. ⺠Higher Jc is accomplished by low-energy irradiation possibly due to splayed structure.
