Abstract
⺠Comparing transport AC losses of two types of 2G HTS racetrack coils. ⺠The magnetic substrate in the MAG RABITS coil is the main difference. ⺠Experimental data agree well with simulation results. ⺠The transport AC loss in the MAG RABITS coil is 36% higher than that in the IBAD coil. ⺠It is better to keep all the substrate non-magnetic.
