Abstract
Here, based upon density matrix renormalization group calculations, we discuss the structure of the stripes found in the doped t–t′–J model and the physics that underlies their formation.
► DMRG calculations on the t–J model showing stripes are reviewed. ► The stripes act as antiferromagnetic domain walls. ► The stripes linear hole densities consistent with experiments. ► d-Wave pairs are found to be present in the stripes.
