Abstract

We study the properties of high-temperature superconductor films of arbitrary thickness with uniaxial mass anisotropy. We obtain high precision ideal vortex lattice solutions of the generalized three-dimensional nonlinear anisotropic Ginzburg–Landau equations for arbitrary film thickness. The effect of c-crystal axis mass anisotropy on various properties of the high-temperature superconductors such as order parameter, magnetic field variance inside and outside the film, surface energy, and shear modulus of vortex lattice is examined. The anisotropic current density profile is calculated for frequently used experimental film thickness range of YBa2Cu3O7−δ.
