Abstract
► We study a novel method with the purpose to collect and cool a muon beam. ► We analyze the sensitivity on the cavity number and accelerating gradient. ► We examine the lattice tolerance to positioning errors of lattice components. ► We show that the cavities can be grouped into a manageable number of frequencies. ► A 1-2 mm coil displacement will not harm cooling.
