Abstract
⺠We study a novel method with the purpose to collect and cool a muon beam. ⺠We analyze the sensitivity on the cavity number and accelerating gradient. ⺠We examine the lattice tolerance to positioning errors of lattice components. ⺠We show that the cavities can be grouped into a manageable number of frequencies. ⺠A 1-2 mm coil displacement will not harm cooling.
