Abstract
A theoretical description of the shape of pulses initiated by charged particles in the transmission diamond detectors is presented. The calculated pulse-shapes are used to investigate the effects of parameters such as detector's geometry, operating voltage and carriers' lifetimes on the performance of the detectors.
