Abstract
A small antiproton recycling ring for the energy range 3î¸30 keV has been designed to use on the MUSASHI beamline at the CERN Antiproton Decelerator. A transfer beamline has been designed to accelerate and transport antiprotons from the MUSASHI trap and inject them into the ring. The acceleration section of the injection line provides focusing and increases the energy of the particles up to 3-30 keV. Both particle acceleration and matching the beam to the ring are accomplished using electrostatic elements. The proposed scheme allows both the trap and ring to be operated with respect to the ground potential. The design and 3D simulation results of the injector are presented.
