Abstract
There are well-known formulae of coupling impedances for the matched-traveling wave kicker, which do not satisfy the Hilbert transformations. In this paper, we develop a new theory to describe kicker impedances that satisfy the causality condition, especially in low frequency region. Three-dimensional simulation and wire-measurements of the impedances are done by using the real kicker. The theoretical, simulation and measurement results are almost consistent, not only for the longitudinal, but also for the horizontal impedance.
