Abstract
We propose two new schemes of a quasi-periodic undulator (QPU) using the harmonic magnetic field effect induced by changing magnet block size. The radiation spectral fluxes of two schemes are numerically calculated and compared with those of the standard undulator and the current QPU. The results demonstrate that new schemes of QPU can greatly suppress the third harmonic radiation comparing with the current QPU.
