Abstract
The IBARAKI Materials Design Diffractometer (iMATERIA) is a high-throughput neutron powder diffractometer. Samples must be placed in the vacuum chamber, which is surrounded by a shield. To reduce the exchange time, an automatic sample changer must be developed that can move through both the shield and vacuum chamber. Here, we report on the current status of development of this automatic sample changer.
