Abstract
Resonators with gradual and step-like transitions are generally used in the gyro-oscillators and amplifiers. On the basis of the mode-matching technique, we have written the high-frequency structure analyzing program for the cold cavity of gyro-devices. The program provided an easy method for computing the resonant frequency and Q value in a complex cavity. We present the theory and an example, which shows good agreement with experiments and HFSS simulation.
