Abstract
A new bunch cleaning system has been designed and is currently in operation in the storage ring of the Advanced Light Source (ALS) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The new system provides for high bunch purity, arbitrary filling patterns, and is compatible with the various ALS user operation modes. Design details and performance results of the new system will be described.
