Abstract
We studied the use of sodium fluoride radiator in a RICH detector. NaF radiator extends the working momentum region for the Ï/K identification down to 0.6Â GeV/c. It has been shown that a RICH detector with NaF radiator can achieve a competitive velocity resolution up to 5Â GeV/c as compared to single-layer aerogel RICH.
