Abstract
Quasi-Cherenkov radiation from relativistic electrons moving through a periodic multilayered nanostructure is considered. Such effects as the emission suppression with increase in the thickness of the target, the elimination of this effect due to strong dispersion of target's dielectric susceptibility, and the growth of the role of anomalous photoabsorption in the vicinity of a photoabsorption edge are the subjects of this investigation.
