Abstract
This study describes the XRF synchrotron radiation (SR) analysis for biological samples. In the experiments, healthy and pathological tissues of the reproductive sphere of the human body have been investigated. The tissue analysis data mirror tissue-specific differences in elemental composition and the presence of such elements as Cr, Ni, As and Cd which are involved in carcinogenesis. In addition, issues of biological tissue sample preparation are discussed.
