Abstract
Several ATLAS pixel modules were placed in the 2004 Combined Test Beam along with other detectors, forming a complete barrel slice of the ATLAS detector. This arrangement allowed studying the tracking performance of the pixel detector when combined with other detector technologies. The alignment of the system is discussed and the resulting residuals presented. Standard ATLAS software was used to reconstruct the data allowing a test of the software chain and testing and development of the tracking reconstruction code using real data. A detailed simulation of the setup was made and the performance of the detector was compared with simulation.
