Abstract
CRP, ESR, count of neutrophils, blood platelets, and iron level proved useful in differential diagnosis of patients with measurable metastasis, which responded to GMTV treatment. In patients with measurable disease increased CRP concentration, ESR level, count of leukocytes and neutrophils were unfavorable survival factors. It was shown that CRP, iron, and neutrophils are independent prognostic factors for overall survival in patients with disease. In patients with resected metastases, independent prognostic factors of overall survival are leukocytes and neutrophils.
