Abstract
⺠A novel quantum memory using Abelian anyons is developed. ⺠This uses an advanced encoding, inspired by non-Abelian anyons. ⺠Errors are suppressed topologically, by means of single spin interactions. ⺠An implementation with current Josephson junction technology is proposed.
