Abstract
We propose and demonstrate a wavevector filter for Weyl fermion based on evanescent wave or the interference effect in the barrier. It is shown that a perfect wavevector filter through a Weyl semimetal-based junction can be efficiently controlled by the barrier strength, the length of the barrier, and the incident energy of the Weyl fermion. Furthermore, the crystal structure oration is also vital in determining the wavevector filter effect. Those numerical results can be found in a good agreement with the theoretical analysis. It is anticipated that this property would receive wide applications in various Weyl semimetal-based electronic devices.
