Abstract
As a flock of prey escapes from a predator, a phase-like transition was observed in the prey flock. This occurred from a state of the flock moving in two separated directions to a state of the prey flock moving a non-separated direction at a predator's attack angle θ=θc. Additionally, regardless of the predator's attack speed κ, the near identical scaling of the θc/κ against a predation risk R was present.
