Abstract
⺠An asymmetric Aharonov-Bohm ring with Rashba spin-orbit interaction is considered. ⺠The effect of a delta-potential barrier on this ring is examined. ⺠The analytic expression of the transmission amplitude is derived. ⺠The conductance can be controlled by varying the barrier parameters. ⺠The asymmetric ring can acts like a spin filter device.
