Abstract
The quantum dissipative motion of wave packets in confined systems with polynomial potentials is numerically investigated in the context of the Schrödinger–Langevin–Kostin equation. Oscillatory patterns are studied in detail and they confirm the validity of the correspondence principle. The transition to the stationary state is also discussed.
