Abstract
We present a variational method to solve the fractional Fokker–Planck equation (FFPE) with the bistable potential. Then the evolution of dynamical probability is investigated. We also explore the properties of the subdiffusive bistable system modulated by the binary pulse signal. To measure the system performance, the dynamical probability of detection error is defined and investigated. It is shown that under the given system response speed and optimized system parameters, lower subdiffusive exponent α results higher probability of detection error, and the optimal system response speed decreases with the increase of α.
