Abstract
Two (2+1)(2+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equations are studied. The Hirota bilinear method is used to determine the multiple soliton solutions for these equations. Moreover, multiple singular soliton solutions are also derived. The analysis emphasizes the power of the bilinear method and its capability of handling completely integrable equations.
