Abstract
We have investigated the charge-ordered state Y0.5Ca0.5MnO3 by measurements of the resistivity ρ, magnetization M, Young's modulus E and internal friction Q−1Q−1. Resistivity represents an insulating behavior during measuring temperature range. However four remarkable Q−1Q−1 peaks are observed in the Q−1(T)Q−1(T) curve. The minimum of E is observed at the charge ordered transition temperature TCOTCO. Furthermore, with increasing the current, the minimum of E shifts to higher temperature and the resistivity ρ decreases.
